Biography

Rêve Bohème debutised at the gypsy jazz restaurant Bistro d’Eustache in Paris, 1998. Since then they have been touring and playing at clubs and festivals all over Europe and performed with many international gypsy jazz artists like Robin Nolan, Andreas Öberg, Jon Larsen, Basily, Paulus Schäfer, Angelo Debarre, Dorado Schmidt..and many others.

Jens Fulgsang

Started to play guitar at the age of 13 and studied jazz guitar at Berklee College, USA. Received a master degree in music in 1999 at the University of Copenhagen, with a thesis on Django Reinhardt’s life and music. Received the jazz-award “Sørens Penge” in 1992. From 2015-17 Jens has been touring with Paul Harrison Band as guitar player and vocalist. Finn Poulsen

Started his muscal career as a busker, playing on the streets all over Europe 1972 – 75. Played guitar and harmonica in leading danish Blues-bands, opening for acts like B.B.King and Meat Loaf in the 1980´s. Robert Pilgaard

Self-taught guitarist concentrating on “jazz manouche” and the art of rhythm guitar called “La Pompe”. Has played violin as a child for 8 years. Has through the years been very active in many different bands as guitar player. Robert Pilgaard on Facebook.

Jesper Riis

Started playing guitar at the age of 17 in different blues- and rockbands. In 2004 he picked up the doublebass and formed the Rockabilly-band Dogtown Tunes. Later he started playing Gypsy Jazz and since 2009 he’s been the bass player in Rêve Bohème and the countryband Duck and Cover. Jesper Riis on Facebook.
